About TiggerFan...

PLEASE write my name as well as my address on your postcard as there is more than one Postcrosser in our house - Thank you :)

*****************************************************************
Hello! I’m a mum of four & live in a small Oxfordshire village with my husband & one daughter.

We share our home with a big goldfish & three Maine Coons. Two are huge & totally adorable 6yr old twin brothers, while the other is an equally adorable 1yr old female. This not-so-small one joined us in January 2010 along with her enchantingly fun-loving twin sister, but she was given her angel wings on their first birthday last October. Our vet’s warned that our little girl will probably be bigger than her step-brothers!

I'm a HUGE Disney fan. My favourite is (obviously!) Tigger but I particularly love all of the ‘Pooh & Friends’ characters.

In my spare time I like to craft, scrapbook, knit, sew, garden, watch movies, read & surf (the web!) ~ not necessarily in that order. I like to visit historic buildings & homes, & love walking in our beautiful countryside, enjoying nature's splendours.

Over the years I've built up a beautiful postcard collection, creating wonderful memories of family holidays/day trips, etc. Thanks to you, I am now building a whole new set of very special albums for my delightful Postcrossing cards.

Please kindly take the time to handwrite your message & the address. I love to see various handwriting styles from diverse countries. Taped labels & messages can often be ugly as they tear & spoil the card you carefully chose. Some of you have great handwriting that puts mine to shame, but I always make the effort as I believe it’s more polite.

Please don't only write 'hope you like the card' or 'happy postcrossing' ~ tell me something of yourself, your lifestyle, your country, pets, favourite song, Ben & Jerry’s or Haagen Dazs, what the weather's like the day you write it, etc. I truly believe that THIS is what Postcrossing is all about & NOT about who can send/receive the greatest number of postcards in the shortest time possible.

Postcards I'd like to receive: Scenic, architectural (esp. old buildings), animals, children, funny cards & ones with quotes. Advertising cards are ok, too. I'd love a hand-made card if you can spare the time to make one, but PLEASE put it in an envelope to preserve your handiwork.

Postcards that I don't want: Anything remotely offensive.

A special thanks for reading this & for sending me your postcard, which I'm genuinely looking to receiving.
