Thank you for sending me a postcard!

I live in Juneau, Alaska now and recently moved from Atlanta, Georgia. My husband and cat live with me and I have a daughter who is away at college.

This was a huge move for us, over 3,000 miles. I had to leave behind my collection of recieved postcards. =(

Juneau is beautiful and not as cold as the rest of Alaska. It rains a lot and does have snow during the winter. But, it is not nearly as brutal as Fairbanks, Anchorage, or the interior. The vistas are huge here and you can see for miles. We have a glacier right here in town.

I have always enjoyed getting personal mail and used to have penpals when I was a girl. Now that I am grown my mail is full of junk and bills. Your card will be a welcome gift.

Some things I like are interesting and beautiful buildings, people having fun, and textiles.
