I'm 60 years old and I originally come from Holland. After working many years in Italy and 20 years in Bristol, I have now retired from working as a nurse in the hospice.

I'm married to a lovely man called Graham and I love cooking him tasty meals.

I'm interested in geology and have studied Earth Science at the university. My hobbies are crafting (scrapbooking), reading and spending time at my computer (and post crossing of course). Recently I have started to learn lace making (bobbin lace). Any lacemakers out there?

I'm very active in my church and have just retired as editor of a 24 page monthly parish magazine.

I have a 35 year old son in Italy and 3 stepchildren here in the UK of similar ages. (+3 grandchildren)

Graham and I have a cave house not far from Granada in southern Spain where we spend our holidays. So of course I'm trying to learn Spanish too.

In January we hope to move to Spain permanently. I look forward to a warmer climate and a quieter lifestyle.

But of course I love to get any postcard from your country. If your country has royalty I'd love a photo of members of the royal family. Especially the Dutch royal family (because I come from Holland originally).
