About Kathinka...
Hi, I'm Kathinka, 40+ years old ;-) , and I live with my husband in Mechelen.
I'm working on the accounts department of a carpet/rugs company.
My hobbys are collecting beerlabels - first tasting the beer ofcourse ;-) - , drawing, my organ/keyboard, photography, reading and fythotherapy. I love traveling, my favorite country to go to is Spain.
I like a lot:
* beer-related cards
* frogs and other animals
* Formula 1,
* airplanes (but no warplanes please)
* colorfull cards of any kind
* books/reading/writing
* flags
* viewcards (single and multi. Just not to small since my eyes are getting older a bit faster than I am):D
* seasoncards, in the apropriate season ofcourse ;-)
* nature
* Twilight saga
* smurfs!
* vintage
* black&white / tricolore
* recently discovered: Inge Löök
* ...
and for the Dutch/Belgian postcrossers, also:
* "kikker" by Max Velthuis
* Fiep Westendorp (Puk van de Petteflet)
* Hema cards ("groeten uit .." en andere)
The list is growing by the week, because I also love receiving postcards of any kind not listed, there is such a variety of cards! Even (neat)home-made cards of any kind are welcome, I apreciate the effort of taking time to create one - please, no cards made of newspaper or advertisments just stuck onto a piece of carton -, as well as ad-cards are welcome (no rude cards please)
If you would write something more than just hello and happy postcrossing, i'd be verry happy!
If it is to difficult to pick a card, just pick one you like, I'm absolutely sure I'll like it as well :-)
Please note that my favorites are only already received cards (except for the Frisian flag-card but since that's a homemade, i can only dream of receiving that card :-D )

If your language is German, Spanish or French, would you write in your language? I've learned them by D.I.Y. so i need the practice.
I prefere cards written and stamped(i like the sight of the journey of the card), but if you feel you need to send it in an envelope ... go ahead, i won't be crossed, i've received very nice cards that way as wel ;-)
You can always contact me to check if your card has arrived when it's close to expire date, but please note that I will not register a card that never has arrived.
Have fun!!
PS: all received cards will be scanned, it just might take a while since I wait 'till I have a bunch
