Hi, my name is Heike. I'm a teacher for Russian and geography. Last of all I've worked as a teacher for German as a foreign language and informed foreign citizens. I prefer to work with adults. For health reasons I'm at home. I'm retired.
I'm married and have 2 adult children. My husband works as a management consultant.
I live in Germany in a big city called Halle/Saale. The city Halle is located in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt at the river Saale. Since the beginning of my studies in 1981 I live in Halle. Currently around 233000 people live in Halle. The city consists of various districts. I live in the district of Halle-Neustadt. There are only building blocks. I live on the 5th floor. There is no lift.
I love the nature, but don't have an own garden.
I especially like orchids, so I chose that avatar for my profile.
In the summer I like to go swimming. I like walking, go on trips with my family, like cooking and collecting stamps.
Postcrossing is my latest hobby. I'm happy about any kind of postcard. I hope to find new friends. I think postcrossing is a great idea to get to know people, cities and countries.
