About B...
I've been collecting cards for only a few years, but I have a lot from all over the world already. I'm interested in all kinds of cards, especially cards of
goats
tea / tea drinking / tea preparation
books / reading /literacy / libraries
crows / ravens / blackbirds
spices / adverts, markets, etc.
food / native dishes / recipes, especially weird recipes...crab-eye soup, etc.
composers / musicians European, especiall pianists
music of other cultures
interesting towns/cities around the world
odd, strange, or just modern architecture
views of nature, especially mountains and rivers, flowers , trees, animals
Ad cards and homemade cards are all fine with me. I also like the poor, pathetic ugly cards that no one in the world would like to have in his/her collection (the most boring view of an insurance company building, for example).
Any size and any age is fine. The only thing I'm not too crazy about are postcards of the Amish and cute kitten cards.
The most important thing for me is to read something interesting from the sender. Things like...
your connection to the place or thing pictured on the postcard
your thoughts about the card's picture (what makes it interesting, beautiful, ugly, etc.)
your philosophy of life
your reasons for doing post crossing
a memorable dream you have had
a typical food from your country and your thoughts about it
a goal you would like to reach
etc.
etc.
