Hey,
this is Fiona from Germany :)
I'm a 23 years old student. My subjects are cultural studies and history.
I'm so looking forward to receive postcards from all over the world and I will be grateful for every card :)
But if you have the time/money/wish to do me a favor here are my favorites:
- You have a card which is so weird or unusual it makes you think "What the hell?" or you haven't send yet because you are afraid to offend someone by it? Well - send it to me :)
- Send me something that fits your definition of "art".
Paintings, architecture, movies, design, poems... Weird, beautiful, modern, traditional, depressing, nonsene, thoughtful, funny...
Surprise me :)
- Anything related to books/reading especially reading women and famous authors/books, libraries
- I love the art and atmosphere of the Fin de siécle, Belle Epoque, Art Nouveau, bohemian lifestyle (I adore Henri Toulouse-Lautrec's work - if you have a related card you'd make me really happy)
- Vintage (reprint) cards which show people, scenes or clothing like from the 20s - 70s
- Fashion and costumes (dresses, shoes, hats, jewelry, Vogue and other fashion magazines)
- Old, nostalgic portraits
- Feminism, Women's rights, strong and famous women (from your country)
- Pictures of Audrey Hepburn, Louise Brooks, Marilyn Monroe,Elizabeth Taylor, Marlene Dietrich, Betty Page, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale, Edie Sedgwick or others
- anything related to monarchy (past or present, persons, castles, jewelry, portraits, furniture)
- Kitsch, glitter, unicorns, bright colours, sweets, cakes, cookies
- Cards with quotations
- I have a nerdy affection for dinosaurs, Star Trek and Bud Spencer&Terence Hill movies ;)
Ad-cards especially those from art exhibitions or concerts or books are very welcome, too.
