I´m 45 years old, living in Akureyri, North Iceland, Iceland’s second largest CITY (about 17.000 people) www.visitakureyri.is, www.akureyri.is. My job is with "human resource" management. When I have time I like to travel. I´ve mostly been to Europe ( love Prague and Paris, France ), but I´ve also visited other interesting countries like: China, Cuba, Morocco and South Africa, and in Oct. 2009 I spent a few weeks vacation in IRAN... a real adventure.
I also like reading and working in my garden ( during the short, sometimes rather not so warm icelandic summer ), walking my dog Hekla ... AND listen to music: classics, rock, folksongs and all between, just depends on the mood :-) Been to several concerts: Tina Turner, Deep Purple, José Carreras, Andrea Bocelli, John Fogerty, Paul Simon and Eric Clapton and a few days ago ( June 9th 2011 ) I went to the EAGLES-concert in Reykjavík... and of course a assortment of Icelandic artists too.
and I also enjoy life in general !!!
I like postcards from different places, art and movie posters ( + bridges / trains / castles / historic etc. ) and all kinds of funny cards too... or just “surprise” me... every single postcard is welcome and appreciated. Waiting to hear from you.
