About Aaron...
We have May - Spring!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Aaron, I'm 19 years old and live in Katzenbach, a small village near Kaiserslautern.
What should I say about my hobbies? Well, I actually love everything as long as it doesn't get boring. I'm much into sports, especially soccer and tennis which I follow closely, but on the other hand I'm also very attached to art, literature and culture related things, and not to forget my newest 'obsession', psychology.
I'm really trying to find an inner balance because there is nothing more important to me than feeling even, and postcrossing is such an extraordinary way to get into touch with other people and share experiences, helping me to put myself into other people's position.
My big range of interests is also a reason why I'm studying Cultural Studies. It's so diverse and interesting that I never get bored. I'm also an enthusiast photographer, that's why I print most motives myself. Feel free to have a look at my sent cards wall if you are interested.
I'm really a person that likes to laugh and put a smile on other people's faces, but of course I'm also having my bad days, feeling deflated and burned out at times. My girlfriend is telling me then to cut down, and even if I need the feeling of things going on around me, I can't refuse to follow her advices. ;)
I'm not picky when it comes to postcards. As I said, I love variety and as different as people's tastes are, that different my postcard collection should be. However, I would love to receive cards showing things you can relate to or identify with. Places that play an important role in your life or scenes that touch you, no matter why. I guess that's the best way to get to know other people. You can't do anything wrong by sending (photo) art cards either.
It would be great if you could also write a famous saying or proverb in your first language on your card and (if possible) add a translation in English, French or German to it.
I'm a family person and especially my grandma is fascinated by this project, being something completely impossible to think of when she was at my age. If you would like to do something nice and surprise her, you can of course contact me. ;)
And the only thing left to say from my side:
Happy postcrossing to you all!
