About Bettina...

I’m a woman born in Denmark January 20th, 1968, but live in Naples, Italy since 1994.
I’m a mum, a wife, and a translator in Danish, Italian and English.
I'm married with the most wonderful Italian man, and we have a teenager son.
I love reading books, crossword puzzle, writing and receiving letters (I'm looking for penfriends, age 35-50, if interested you are welcome to send a letter together with the postcard), to use in some way my languages, flowers, to watch films except horror and thrillers, I hate cooking, but I like baking both cakes and biscuits. I like to listen to music by Enya, Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion. I love to eat muffins and chocolate! :o)
My favourite animals are storks, squirrels and giraffes.
I collect phone cards. My favourite colours are purple and pink.
My favourite flowers are daffodils, gerbera and sunflowers.

In our holidays we love to travel. So far we’ve visited Denmark, several places in Italy, Edinburgh, London, Helsinki, Tallinn, Amsterdam, Lugano, Vilnius, Riga, Lisbon, Paris including Disneyland, Istanbul, Dublin, the south of England, Prague, Egypt, Spain, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Belgium, Scotland, Greece, Cyprus, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Sevilla, Austria, Berlin & London.
I would like to receive postcards with city views, castles, royal persons, politicians, portraits of writers, people in traditional/national dress, old photos (NOT vintage!),old houses, books, cake/biscuits recipes, flowers, old street lanterns, zodiac signs (esp. Capricorn, Pisces & Gemini), teacups and teapots, cute animals (specially kittens), Olympic mascots, romantic cards, Venetian Carnival Masks, mail boxes, clowns, angels, elves, snow men, drawings by Sarah Kay and from Beatrice Potter’s books, Diddl, Snoopy and other Peanuts characters, Barbapapas, Paddington, Norwegian trolls or Smurfs.
England: cards with Lady Diana, Windsor Castle, Eton College or everything related to Jane Austen are very much welcomed. From London I would love a card with Big Ben, S. Paul Cathedral or The Palace of Westminster.
Scotland: Balmoral Castle, Edinburgh Castle, the Tattoo or with Nessie would be nice.
India: the most wonderful would be with Taj Mahal.
USA: cards with Barack Obama would be great.
Australia: a nice kangaroo would be lovely or the Sydney Opera house (conceived and largely built by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon).
China: Terracotta Warriors would be great!
From Japan I would love to receive a Suica smart card.
Sweden: the always smiling Crownprinsess Victoria, Pettson och Findus or wonderful Hälge. :o)
I'm fascinated with everything Egyptian, Scottish and Irish.
