Hi there!

My name is Astrid. I like shopping, museums, design, movies, long track speed skating, books, the postcrossing forum, ice cream, music, powerpuff girls, the color green, socks, snow, Momiji Dolls, photography, cooking and traveling. My favorite destinations are Canada and France. My last real vacations were to China and Jordan and my last short trips were to Helsinki and Paris to meet some of my Postcrossing friends! :)

The first thing I do every week day when I come home from work, is checking my mailbox for cards. I love to read them right away while walking up the stairs to my flat. The more writing there is on a card, the better! Please do me a favor and write something more than ‘I hope you like this card & Happy Postcrossing’. I promise, I will be happy with your card! I’m not picky. ;)

Of course I do have preferences. My favorite types of cards are images of

~ photos of fruits or vegetables

~ Sandmännchen (Sandman)
~ Happy Bunny
~ Emily the Strange
~ Mini Cooper, Fiat 500 or older cars
~ Black&white photographs, especially with people on them
~ cards with matching stamps
~ anything unusual or weird or strange or tacky
~ anything you think should be on my wishlist
