About Anne...

I am twenty-five years old and originally from Germany but during the past years I have been kind of a globetrotter, not living at one place longer than two years.
I did half of my university studies in Romania and fell in love with the country. Now I am living in Russia, to be more precise: in the Automobile-capital of Russia - Togliatti. Automobile-capital already implies it: Togliatti is not the most beautiful city and it is quite impossible to find nice postcards. So I am apologizing to everyone who received a postcard with car-factories and apartment-blocks (that's really what they put on postcards here).
I came here through the European Commission financed EVS-programme and work for a Youth organization.
A great part of my free-time is spent on learning Russian at the moment. Apart from that I love to go swimming, read books, travel, go out with friends, go to concerts, listen to music and watch football. During this winter I also started to ice-skate and I really enjoy it (although I am pretty bad at it).

I'm not someone who collects postcards in an album, I put my favourite postcards on my wall to decorate my appartment. I am not so fond of these typical touristic city-postcards (I have received so many of them and they are always the same). I like all kinds of beautiful images... black-and-white photografies as well as colourful pictures, nature, architecture, people, artworks... If you really want to do me a favour, you can send me a card of a famous persons (musicians, actors,...) or a movie. Anyway I like all kind of cards! I usually write a lot on my postcards and I would apreciate if you also wrote more than just "Happy Postcrossing". If you have absolutely no idea what to write, tell me your favourite book, your favourite movie and (if you like music)your favourite song of all times (I think that says a lot about a person).

Regarding my adress: post is supposed to arrive here even if the adress is written in Latin but I doubt that it works. So if you do not know the kyrilic alphabet just print the adress and stick it to the card.

I am looking forward to receiving your postcards!
