World's oldest paperboy?

Do you know your postman? How old is he/she? We bet is not as old as Ted Ingram. Ted is 90 years old but he still delivers newspapers in Dorset, United Kingdom.

Ted has his job since since 1942 (imagine that!) and has delivered over 500,000 newspapers! That's nearly 7 decades - we wonder how many people can claim to have hold any job so long!

The guiness book of records is now considering him as the oldest paperboy, but Ted says "I hope I can carry on the round when I'm 100, I have no plans to give it up".

I hope Ted holds the record until the age of 100, but I wish he could hold it when he was young, so that he would be able to have fun with his record for the rest of his life!

People like Ted are those that can be admired because of their dedication for something they love doing. Wish you all the best for 10 more years! :-)

Ted was on our local news the other week. He does the round by car now, and says he loves the people he delivers to. Brilliant guy, hope I can be as happy as he is when I am that age

That's just amazing.

Has anyone realised a trend? People from the older generation could keep their jobs for like 30-50 years without a problem; young people these days seem to hop from one job to another very easily.
