HI- I love to crochet beautiful things for the people I love. I also create things for people, I guess you could say I'm a crafter with a fine taste for expensive yarn. I spend some of my time reading: fiction, non-fiction, american history biographies, anything I can get my hands on. Over the years I've added colored pencils and fancy markers to my creative side. I've picked up a knack for coloring and art.
I like all types of postcards. Each card is unique and beautiful.
This project began for my child's homeschool lessons for SEVEN wonderful years. We were able to track many different places, learn about culture and history. Thanks for making this a great learning opportunity- and such a fun way to learn!
**Any type of postcard is great
My son is on a first name basis with our post office clerks. Thanks to everyone who helps us!
This was such a great project for the 2011-2012 school year I am going to continue this. My kiddo is now 17 and loves doing this. He has found a new love for all things French.
This project has evolved over the past couple years. My son is going to be 17 this school year and has quite the map of postcrossing! This has become our nightly tradition, logging the cards and getting new addresses. He still LOVES all things French, dogs, and anything unique. He has added art to his list of things. Thanks to everyone who has made postcrossings a success and educational experience for us!
