Hi there! My name is Erin and I live in the Pine Barrens section of NJ, about 13 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. I live with my husband and three children, two boys and a girl. They range in age from five to eleven. :)We are a very outdoorsy family- you will find us at the beach, going hiking, enjoying parks and playgrounds and nature in general. I was born and raised within walking distance of the beach and it's still my favorite place to be. :)
I consider myself a sun worshipper. I am really into surfing and surf culture. I love the warmth of the sun, the scent of brine and the sound of gulls. :) I am also a tad goth- I love vampires, skull stuff, watching bats fly overhead in the evening and reading books on the darker side. I'm very outgoing. I love to talk to people. I like guys with long hair, especially if they are blond or red-haired. ;) Edvard Munch is my favorite artist and I have his "Vampire" hanging above my bed. :)
I like umbrellas and rain gear, flamingos and anything tropical, islands, Japanese Lucky Cat, things that are pink, citrus fruits, green tea frappuchinos, cooking, bird watching, unicorns, dragons, history, genetics, knights, Vikings, Egypt, Ancient Rome, any ancient ruins or castles, etc. My kids are big fans of Pokemon, Yokai Watch and My Little Pony and they like seeing baseball stadiums and anything touristy. I am also really into the color yellow right now, because it is so bright and happy. :)
I like tv shows like Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, Hoarders, Breaking Bad and classics like Get Smart, the original Voltron, Forever Knight and Dark Shadows. I am an avid reader and I love music- everything from 80s club to hardcore metal. :). I used to go to shows regularly before the kids. Now that they are old enough, I will start taking them. My favorite films are The Lost Boys, Endless Summer, Pink Flamingos, Harold and Maude and Blue Crush. :)
We have four cats and we also care for a colony of friendly ferals. We're definitely cat people. ;)
I can't wait to see you in my mailbox! ;) Please no folded cards in envelopes. :) Handmade cards welcome. :) Thank you! Happy Postcrossing!
