I love walking, traveling, study of languages, letter-writing, collecting stamps, Mingei folk pottery, chocolate, movie (Wim Wenders/"Der Himmel über Berlin", Disney/"Alice in wonderland", Quentin Tarantino, Hayao MIYAZAKI, François Ozon, etc.), music (The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Bjork, Coldplay, etc.), modern and contemporary art (Georgia O'Keeffe, Andrew Wyeth, Edward Hopper, Wayne Thiebaud, Frida Kahlo, Lawren Stewart Harris, Nicholas Roerich, Oscar Oiwa, Audrey Kawasaki, etc.), photography (Diane Arbus, William Eggleston, etc.), museum (MIMOCA and The Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House are my favorites!), reading (Haruki MURAKAMI, Gabriel García Márquez, etc.), architectural structure (shrine and temple, church, museum, old&new architectural masterpieces), and all the beautiful things.

-folkcraft (knit, embroidery, dyed textile, pottery, etc.)
