I love walking, traveling, study of foreign language, letter-writing, collecting stamps, pottery, chocolate, movie (Wim Wenders/"Der Himmel über Berlin," Disney/"Alice in wonderland," Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, Hayao MIYAZAKI, François Ozon, etc.), music (The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Radiohead, Bjork, Coldplay, etc.), modern and contemporary art (Georgia O'Keeffe, Arthur Garfield Dove, Andrew Wyeth, Edward Hopper, Wayne Thiebaud, Frida Kahlo, Lawren Stewart Harris, Vilhelm Hammershøi, Nicholas Roerich, etc.), photography (Diane Arbus, William Eggleston, etc.), museum (MIMOCA and The Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House are my favorites!), reading (Haruki MURAKAMI, Ryu MURAKAMI, Gabriel García Márquez, etc.), architectural structure (shrine and temple, church, museum, old&new architectural masterpieces), and all the beautiful things.
Especially I collect;
-airplane and airport (of course include airlines advertising postcard!)
-image of the Virgin Mary, the Virgin and Child
(Pietà, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Fátima, Lourdes, etc. )
-exterior or interior of the chapel, church, cathedral, basilica or monastery
-all about Christianity
(Pope, cross, altar, rose window, stained glass, saint, festival, skeleton, the Bible, art, etc.)
-advertisement postcard for exhibition at a museum
-Queen Elizabeth II
-my favorite cards on my postcard wall
(Except for the Virgin Mary, these are cards I don't have yet.)

(My first name "Natsuka," meaning "summer fruits." My mom told me that it meant "Watermelon."
And, "suikatou" is Japanese for "Watermelon Sugar.")
-handmade and collage (I especially love used stamp collage!)
