About Helen...

I'm a Canadian, originally from Edmonton in Alberta. I have lived in Japan for 23 years, but don't speak or read much Japanese. I married a Japanese man who speaks English and we have been married for eighteen years. We now live in a house with my husband's mother. Life is very different in Japan than in Canada.

I love movies, books, crochet, music, tea and food!

I LOVE cards with...

-B&W portraits of actors/actresses or famous writers
-yarn and thread crafts, especially crochet related
-food-please tell me what the food is if not in English
-tea or people drinking tea or teapots
-Books or people reading books or connected to writing books
-Beautiful views from your area or country
-Gotochi Cards from Japan-see my favourites
-something that really interests you---Tell me why please! (The WHY is important to me!)

PLEASE - NO CATS, DOGS (except Shelties) or CHILDREN.
Please keep these cards for someone who would appreciate them. I would also rather not receive free/advertising cards that are unrelated to my preferences.

One last thing, and it's important! Please WRITE SOMETHING about yourself on the card! I postcross to meet people from all over the world!

If you need a topic to write about, please tell me what your favourite movie is! I like many, but I love Casablanca, Dead Again, and Strictly Ballroom. Oh, and Tremors too. More recent film favourites include Black Panther, Wonder Woman and Daniel Craig's Bond Films.

I look forward to receiving YOUR card. Thank you for sending me a card that you would love to receive.

***Please DON'T send your cards in an envelope unless you must. I celebrate the battle scars the cards receive on the journey here.

I welcome Gotochi Swaps with people IN JAPAN ONLY. I prefer unwritten and unstamped cards sent in an envelope.

Sent card, not registered --So many...and it is so sad :-(
Where do they go, these lost cards of ours?
