About Sophia...

Hello! (or "Ahoj" in Slovak)
My name is Sophia and I live in small town in the middle of Slovakia. I'm student of High School, I like art, geography, reading books (detective&mystery), writing letters, crafting, painting, mail art, stationery, wax sealing, collecting stamps, listening old music (but I also listen lot of Polish and Russian modern music). I love animals and taking care of my hamster, sometimes I do griddlers and crosswords. I like going on walk and looking for Geocaches with my friends.

My main and biggest priority is collecting postcards related to van Gogh. I'm really big fan of Vincent van Gogh and I'm obsessed about his paintings, so any postcard related to his art would be absolutely perfect for me. You can see my van Gogh's collection there, so please if possible don't send the same card as I actually have.
( )
I know that it's hard to find van Goghs cards (especially when I already have many of them), so if you don't have anything related to van Gogh, just don't worry! :)

themes that I like too:

- cute illustrations, cartoon, colorful cards
- covid19, quarantine, stay safe, masks themed cards
(I have Stay Safe Stay Home from Germany and China)
- folk costumes, folk design, national costumes
- hamsters, mouses, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, deers, wolfs
- cherries, food
- pin-up girls, redheads
- sunsets, night views
- halloween, pumpkin
- famous people
- train, bus, metro
- something typical of your country
- mailbox, postman, postcrossing, stamps, something related to post
- western, cow-boys, wild West
- Kahlo, Picasso, Warhol, Dali, Mucha, Klimt, Munch

Or maybe you can look at my favorites for more inspiration. :)
I'm not a big fan of touristic postcards, but I don't mind. I appreciate all cards that I receive, even they are not by my preferences.

I prefer written and stamped postcards. PLEASE NO in envelope. In school I'm learning speak russian, so if you're from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine or any russian speaking country, you can write in russian.
I would love to know about you, your hobbies, something interesting about your country, memories, your favorite music, book, quote, football team.. decorated postcards, stickers, drawings and washi tapes are always welcome. I love colorfull written cards. :)

I like private swaps too, so if you want to swap with me magnets, tea-bags, newspapers, bookmarks, postcards, stationery, washi tapes or anything else, let me please know. Also if you have something related to van Gogh (for example bookmark, used ticket from his museum, old calendar, poster or anything else) that you don't need anymore, I would really like to swap. :)

I can't wait for your friendly writing
