Soozcat

Howdy! 'Tis I, Soozcat.

I'm in my mid-50s, happily married, and hubby and I have raised our now-adult niece since she was 10, so we consider her a daughter. I love to wander through used bookstores, write random stories, make things, sing in the shower, goof off, eat raspberry sorbet and otherwise enjoy life.

I love cats, and at the moment we have two in our household: Charlie, a big muscular standard-issue cat (aka a brown mackerel tabby with white ruff and paws) who is a huge furry flirt, and Millie, a slim, elegant, slightly ditzy but very affectionate tortie who can jump higher than my head.

If you want to get an idea of the kinds of postcards I like, check out my wall of favorites. Colorful stamps are also much appreciated. But you can send me any kind of postcard you want--yes, even ad cards, as long as they're visually interesting. I'm most curious to see what you'll choose for me.

Even more than the picture on the postcard, I'm intrigued by what you choose to write on the other side. Please be as creative as you like -- write a poem, doodle, send a recipe, tell a story, or write about your favorite place in the world and what you love about it.
