About Lisa...

I've been around Postcrossing for several years, but wanted to make a fresh start with a new account after moving back to my hometown and settling down. I'm in my late 20's and, for now, work in a bakery; a job that involves strange hours, lots of heavy lifting, and having to do a lot of laundry to get rid of all the flour on my clothes, but also means I get more free bread than one person can possibly eat, so I'm not complaining too much ;)

I'm a huge nerd who loves history, languages, and fantasy books, as well as being outside and spending time with my dog and cat. I have dreams of one day speaking good German (I can only read/understand it right now), learning to play the fiddle and buying a small farm. One day, if I ever have enough money, I would love to go back to school and get a graduate degree in history so I could research and write professionally.

As for cards, I don't turn my nose up at anything, but I especially like cards that show me something about where you're from: local landscapes, animals, cities, historic buildings, ruins, culture, or language. I would also love cards with cougars/mountain lions/pumas (my favorite animal) and anything involving farming, gardening, or livestock

If you have a card with the name of your country on the front, I'm trying to collect at least one such card from as many countries as possible, so if you have one please send it my way.

I also like holiday cards (at the appropriate time of year) and the PostalLove Greetings from... series
