Greetings from Brooklyn, New York!
COVID-19 makes this a challenging time for us all. We hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.
Jason is from the US state of Georgia, has a PhD in English, and teaches at a local university. Yufang is from Taiwan, has a PhD in Postcolonial Theory and Literature, and practices translation. We have been married for 10 years!
We are stamp collectors. Our other hobbies include reading Science Fiction and Detective Fiction, playing piano, building with LEGO, and working on computers.
We adore animals, especially cats, whales, and sea otters, and we love mail art, music, architecture, and anything arty or cute.
Our tuxedo cat is named Mose after Dwight Schrute’s awkward and silly cousin on the US version of The Office.
Our lovely cat Miao Miao (our avatar picture) passed away on 26 December 2018 due to cancer. She was the friendliest cat with a unique personality. We miss her very much.
We made a video of the walk from our neighborhood to the downtown Brooklyn post office, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nK2-QjHtJc8.
Jason makes his class lectures and guest lectures available for anyone to watch on his YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/dynamicsubspace.
We enjoy all postcards and messages from fellow Postcrossers!
If you happen to have one of the following postcards, perhaps you can help us with our postcard collection. For the hard-to-find cards, we do not mind them having already been sent—just write your ID on a note with the card and post it in an envelope! : D
