My name is Gisela. I am an architect and a mother of two sons.
About each person, who will send me a postcard, I am curious! Up to now I have received postcards from sixty-five countries and hopefully there will be much more! The longest distance travelling postcard came from Levin/New Zealand (18.479 km), the shortest from Braunau am Inn/Austria (109 km). I really enjoy looking at the recipient's profile and trying to pick out the perfect card along with a variety of stamps.
Things that amuse me are: architecture and art, travelling, enjoying nature, (vegan) cooking, having a good cup of powerful coffee, watching ambitious movies and reading books, which are broadening my mind.
Anything you send will be greatly appreciated, all postcards you send to me for the best, I´ll like anyway, but if you want, you can send me a BLUE one. In choosing the motif there are no limits for fantasy, colour is the bottom line. I´ve got so many pleasant surprises!
Postcards which picture the oeuvre of great, not necessarily famous, architects and surprising architectural details are always very inspiring for me, not only at work.
Because of their friendly hugeness and snugness I´m fancied by walruses.
Since an amazing stay in Finland I became fond of the little Moomins, especially of the small fury ancestor, who lives inside the family´s stove.
And: All postcards with coffee motifs get a place of honor in our kitchen!
