namaste!

my name is christian, but i also go by my spiritual name, which is courage. i am a student of music composition and early music performance at indiana university’s jacob school of music. i play many instruments - harp, piano, accordion, and recorder - and am an operatic countertenor specializing in baroque and medieval repertoire. please subscribe to my youtube (link above) to listen to my compositions and support me.

while i am an accomplished musician, i am most proud of overcoming many challenges as a person with a neurological disability. in september of 2020 i had a stroke which has changed my life drastically. my biggest goal at the moment is to run again someday - which may take many years. before my stroke i was an avid runner; athletics are a huge part of my life still.

i have so many interests, from linguistics to agriculture to geology. i want you to show me what YOU find interesting. really take some time to enjoy the process of sharing your soul with me. if this is difficult for you, here are some of my interests:
