About Diana...

Hello! My name ist Diana. I am a German engineer.
I live in southern Germany, but I was born in the eastern part of the country. My heart still belongs to the east.
I love to travel by train. Recommendations for trips are very welcome.

If possible, please use new and beautiful (commemorative) stamps.
It would be nice if the picture of the postcard and stamps are from the same country
(NOT necessarily your place of residence).

I ♥ postcards of ...
+ ARCHITECTURE - castles, TV towers and famous skyscrapers
+ LANDSCAPES - especially seascapes
+ snow - winter view
+ night views (especially twilight / blue hour)
+ trains
+ sailing ships
+ Mt. Fuji
+ Hobbit / Lord of the Rings
+ New Year Cards with Chinese zodiac
+ cute illustration - e.g.: Moomin, Krtek, Ampelmann
+ dragons, unicorns
+ polar animals
+ forest
+ cacti
+ paintings by Ivan Bilibin
+ Romantic lanscape paintings (like those by Ivan Aivazovsky or Caspar David Friedrich or Hudson River School)
+ illustrations by KAORI WAKAMATSU (ワカマツカオリ) -->
+ illustrations by Masato Adachi (足立真人) -->

I would be glad to receive postcards from my favourites
They are not part of my collection so far.

If possible, please avoid sending ...
- selfmade / selfprinted cards
(including real photos stuck on a card)
- folded cards
- photocopies of postcards
- cards via internet services (e.g.: Touchnote)
- old / vintage cards
or photos of humen or great apes.
I am sure somebody else would be happier about it.
