About TasaraHartmannFamily...

Hallo fellow Postcrossers!

We are a German-Zimbabwean family currently located in Zurich, Switzerland. We enjoy hiking in the Alps, traveling, good food and real-mail surprises in our mailbox!

We are excited about the variety of postcards existing in this world, so we will be happy to receive any kind of card. Why don't you surprise us with the type of postcard that YOU like best?

Still, during the past months on postcrossing, some favourite themes have emerged (in no specific order):

+ tourist cards with single views of your city or country (we are not so so excited about multiviews unless they are nouvelles images-style or they have a white frame (e. g. like this one: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/ZA-34784)). We also really like night views.

+ landscapes, seascapes, nature, wildlife

+ art, especially photographic art, art nouveau, vintage ad posters

+ interesting graphics, illustrations

+ food, drinks, traditional dishes, recipes

+ maps

+ unusual cards

+ funny cards (but not so much cartoons)

+ colourful cards

But really, feel free in your choice. Any card is welcome and will be appreciated. Maybe your card is a type of favourite we had not yet recognized? We also don't mind ad cards, as long as they are so attractive that you would enjoy to receive them yourself.

Although we do not really collect them, we also enjoy beautiful stamps. Especially EUROPA stamps would make us happy, so in case you have one, we'd be delighted if you used it for our postcard. Be assured that the card will stay intact. We do not put the stamps in an album, and stamp and postcard will remain united forever.

If you do not know what to write, tell us an interesting fact about your place or country!

Also, envelopes are not necessary. We think that stamps and smudges and scratches
from shipping add to the character of a card.

Happy Postcrossing!
