SUPPORT FOR THE PRESERVATION OF MAJOLICA TILE IN TAIWAN
/ni hao/ Chinese

My name is Doris.
I come from Taoyuan, a plateau lies in the northwestern part of Taiwan.
Longtan, the district where I live, is noted for its peanut candies with various flavors and the Longquan Tea. Hakka is the biggest group here. Also, the most famous scenic spot in Longtan is the Longtan Pond, where the annual dragon boat race has been held for more than 100 years.
I work as a geography textbook editor since mid September. (If there is something about your country that you think is interesting for students please share it with me!)
My biggest interests are being creative in art, listening to music, learning new language and just having a pleasant time reading a book or enjoying milk+tea.
During the holidays, I like to visit different places in different townships, mostly in northern Taiwan. Recently, I am looking forward to "traveling" around the world through your postcards.
And here are some topics I like:
★FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019
★Year of Rat/ Year of Pig/ 令和元年
★Greeting from... Cards(Postallove)/Happy Postcrossing... postcards(Papersisters)/ Flags of the world(Postcardsmarket)/ Anderson Design Group TOURIST COURTS
★Olympic/ World Championships/ FIFA World Cup or other sport events
★Mojiji Nekopen(もじじ ねこぺん) / Sumikko Gurashi(すみっコぐらし) / Rilakkuma(リラックマ) / Miyazaki Hayao's works
★Gotochi cards from Japan(I promise I'll send you back!)
★Leonid Afremov paintings
★maximum card / variable value stamp
★things characteristic from your country
★animals(budgerigar, hedgehog, pig, king penguin...)
★black-and-white photographs with color accents
I think that the element of surprise and the variety is what makes this hobby so enjoyable. I like to receive postcards that I would never have considered asking for but are really beautiful & unique.
If you are unsure what to write, maybe you can paste a soap package, a transportation ticket or write my name " 雅君/ya chun/ " on the card. (Don't feel sorry no matter my name is written correctly or not. Just try to write it :) ) I would also very much appreciate it if you put the date and some native language on the card :D
Just surprise me and Happy Postcrossing!
