I was born in Portland, Oregon, USA. I now live in Star, Idaho, about 20 miles from the capital city of Boise. I am 57 years old, married and I have 3 grown sons, and one grandson. I love the outdoors of Idaho! But inside, my favorite thing to do is jigsaw puzzles. When I was 5 years old, my grandma used to let me help her; it is a great memory. I love to read books and watch movies. I have seen every Academy Award winning movie since the beginning in 1927. That's a lot of movies! My husband and I love going to concerts, almost 100 in 12 years! We love music!!!
We have a Australian Cattle dog named Cody. He loves to go hiking with his "Dad" but also loves to fit all 50 pounds of himself in my lap. He is smart, happy, and loves to catch the Frisbee. Our puppy, Barron, is now 2 years old and he weighs 73 lbs. He is BEAUTIFUL! The name Barron means Noble Warrior. Very fitting.🐶
I started postcarding in July 2015! What fun! I also love to travel and learn about new cultures and lands. So I see this as another way to travel. And I love getting interesting mail so this fits perfectly! I LOVE going to the mailbox!
When you send me a postcard, share with me anything! Facts, thoughts, ideas, dreams...I find it all fascinating!

I have to say that I have enjoyed every card I have received, even if it wasn't on my list.
My favorite part of Postcrossing is to read profiles and pick out a great card to send to someone to make them smile! But the surprises I have already received in my mailbox have been great and can't wait for more to come!
Please date the card. Put the card ID anywhere but on the bottom of the card. The US post office will cover it up with a bar code that often makes it impossible to read. Also, please be prompt in registering cards you receive (not just from me...from everyone). We all want to be able to send more and receive more!
Can't wait to hear from you!
