Hey! My name is Jocelyn, I´m 25 and I live in Freiburg, Germany together with my boyfriend and our two cats Albert and Gandhi (as a challenge I asked for one card of Albert Einstein and one of Mahatma Gandhi and I got them both, I was so happy :-) Because the challenge was much fun, here a new one: a card of Gandalf and of Nelson Mandela - Thank you!!).
I'm interested in healing and alternative medicine so I´m studying this right now.
Thank you for sending me a postcard! I have some preferences but if you don't have a card like this I'll be so happy about any card:)
I´m happy about:
-Yoga, Tai Chi, belly dance
-beautiful, mystic, cute, funny, fantastic, artistic illustrations (especially those square cards)
-anything related to medicine, healing (western and eastern), the human body and how it works
-authentic scenes of human beings/of life situations
-a postcard with a motive of the culture of Asia, Africa, Australia or Latin-America
-I love Asian religious art, so if you have a postcard related to Hinduism or Buddhism, like Hindu gods or goddesses, Buddha, temples, statues, whatever, I would be glad to receive it.
-Maybe something you created yourself? I think creativity is one of the best ways to express oneself and shows a lot about your own personality and thoughts.
-The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Simon&Garfunkel, Mumford&Sons, The Kooks, Leonard Cohen
-movies, tv shows (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Gilmore Girls, Downton Abbey, House M.D, HIMYM, TBBT, Modern Family (!) and many more. I also like classic movies:) favorite movie ever: Some Like it Hot!
-artistic cat pictures (photo or illustrated), but not kitschy please:)
-football and biathlon are the sports I like to watch :)
I don't like tourist, holiday or postcards with just animals or landscapes that much.
But if you just have a postcard like that, I'm totally fine with any postcard!
I love Washi tape and tea. So if you have some tape or tea you don't use/drink anymore I would be so grateful to receive it:)
It would be great if you write something personal on your card.
1. Question: How did you meet your significant other?
Sometimes I love to use a postcard for a postcrossing member as a diary. Maybe you'd like to do the same:) So: what are your current frustrations? What are you thinking about right now? Any personal changes in your life soon? A secret you want to share with someone who doesn't know you? Also: what do you think about the political situation in your country and also internationally? Who or what do you love? What is love for you? Do you believe in aliens or reincarnation? What is your philosophy? Which movie do I have to watch and why? Which book do I have to read? I just really want to know about your views and thoughts:) or maybe you are also a bit of a Harry Potter nerd and want to share your best theory about something related to it.
Thank you so much
