About Susanne...

Hello, big wide world!

Susanne here, mum of three teenage children, from a tiny village in Lower Saxony. I teach English and Welsh at an adult education centre and write a blog for Welsh learners (www.ymlaenwelsh.com).

Wales is my second home, I used to live there for five years in the 1990s and have a degree in Welsh (BA) and Celtic Studies (MA). In 2015/2016 we also lived in China (Changchun, Jilin Province) for a year.

I love literature, art, travelling, the outdoors, football, jigsaws, cats, languages, photography, the sea, various crafts, gardening, swimming, long walks, beach-combing, car-boot sales, music, singing and playing the piano.
