I'm Nadine, 34 years old from Germany.
I live in a very small village near Jüchen (not far from Düsseldorf or Cologne).
I also used to live in the United States (Glen Rock, NJ) for one year and in England (Maidenhead, Berkshire) for 6 month where I worked as an aupair.
I like to spend my spare time traveling. I enjoy trips to historic cities and towns the most. So far I have been to: The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Vatican, Austria, Slovenia, Denmark, Great Britain, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, Ireland and the USA.
Another hobby of mine is snail mailing. I love sending and receiving letters and postcards!
Cards I would love to receive are touristic postcards; if available, I would be most grateful to receive:
-map cards (please if you have time, check my collection: https://www.flickr.com/photos/110843952@N02/collections/72157644481866599/)
-postcards showing UNESCO WHS (https://www.flickr.com/photos/110843952@N02/collections/72157638445576825/)
-"Did you know?" Postcards
-big letter postcards like these ones: https://www.flickr.com/photos/110843952@N02/albums/72157655801185042
but any other tourist card is fine as well :)
Also if you have a signed meet-up card from a meet-up you have been to left - I would love to receive it.
My least favourite cards are handmade cards. Sorry!
But whatever you send is up to you as long as you send a real postcard!
My favourites are postcards that I would like to receive. Thats why I don't favourite any of my received postcards. I try to upload every card I receive, that is not already uploadet, though.
I also love my postcards written! Please try to write at least a little bit even if you think your English is not so good or your handwriting is a mess. I really don't care. Tell me about yourself, about what is seen on the postcard and/or why you picked it for me. After all we are on postcrossing because we love snailmailing, aren't we? And to me snailmailing means to acutally write something! Feel also free to write to me in Dutch and Spanish. I'm not good at those languages but it helps me practicing :)
I am looking forward to receiving your postcard :)
PS: Please do not laminate the postcard. I have received one laminated and to me this does not look like a postcard anymore!
