I am a Public Relations professional, working for the Organisation of the Swiss dairy farmers. With my husband I live on the countryside in Northern Switzerland.
I am a passionate reader, am interested in old handwritten manuscripts of the Middle Ages, in philosophy, in politics and in contemporary history, I like traveling, arts, writing letters and diaries, collecting proverbs, hiking and untouched nature, cottages, paper cuts, flea markets, book shops and coffee & tea houses.
Any card is very welcome - just surprise me and share something with me. If you prefer suggestions, here are some of my favorite cards:
proverbs/quotes, books & reading people, calligraphy, handwriting, alphabets, medieval issues, map cards and illustrated or painted maps, postallove, paintings (especially medieval, naive, impressionists, Amedeo Modigliani, René Magritte, artists from your country), forests and trees, ornament, optical illusions, vintage/retro, vintage travel posters and ads, vintage botanical drawings, vintage black/white portraits, cottages, front doors, balconies, natural landscapes of your country, national food, old cimeteries and any subject of your particular interest (tell me why).
Postcrosser aus Deutschland: Chronikkarten des Schöning Verlages sind willkommen.
The text is important for me and makes your card really unique. Please write (much) more than just 'happy postcrossing' or 'best wishes', may it be
something about you or your hobbies,
something that inspires you or makes you smile,
some recommendations for interesting books,
a typical proverb of your country
or the three objects to keep with you if you happen to be stuck on a desert island.
As I like foreign languages, you could also write some words in your native language - beside some nice ones in a language I understand :-)
I'll be happy to hear from you - thank you for your card.
