I`m Tatiana, the interpreter, madly in love with my job and traveling.
I`m from Yekaterinburg. It is a city in the Ural mountains between the European and Asiatic parts of Russia. My city is famous because the last Russian emperor Nikolai II and his family were assassinated there, Boris Yeltsin, the first president of Russia started his political career in my city. Since 2017 I live in Moscow. I`ve provided my Yekaterinburg address.
If you ask me "Where are you from?" I`m gonna answer "I am a citizen of the World!" :)
I like dancing: ballet, salsa, bachata, waltz.
I have a dream to speak as many foreign languages as possible.
I adore reading books in Russian, English, sometimes French, and Italian. If you send me some recommendations of the author you like to read or some famous author of your country - it would be just great! If you are a native speaker of French, Italian or Spanish - you are welcome to write me a postcard in French, Italian or Spanish. Citizens of Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, and Georgia are also welcome to write to me in their native languages, I am learning these languages in a passive way.
I got a challenge: to meet people who have sent me a card in their countries. So, if you wouldn`t mind to meet me in your country for a coffee, please, write to me :) COVID 19 update: as soon as travel restrictions will be lifted
As for postcards, I`d love to get some paysages from your countries, something beautiful, some significant places:) Maybe some sightseeings of your city or country. (Moomins!!! I`ve seen so many beautiful cards with them here) Some beautiful Christmas cards in vintage style are welcomed.
I don`t like any pictures of pets and some commercialized stuff, like St.Valentine`s day cards.
Have a nice day!
PS A little something about the place, where I was born. I am not the author of that text, but I liked it so much, so I`ve translated it
Urals are energy that changes people forever.
It`s a place where East meets West.
Where people of strong spirit and austere nature are born.
Where resources are inexhaustible and thoughts are deep.
The weather is unpredictable here.
In summer people go out taking a swimsuit and felt boots.
Here nobody is surprised by a meteorite.
Sometimes you can see the air.
The metal is in production sites, in words, and in thoughts.
People don`t smile over anything. But if they do, they mean it.
The power is everywhere: in people, in deeds, in words.
Nature inspires us to travel and explore.
Mosquitos make people move faster towards their goals.
Mountains and lakes are filled with ancient secrets.
Rivers flow as gently as time itself. Nobody is in a hurry.
And every second has its own meaning.
Whether you were born here. Whether you`ve visited … This place is called the Urals! In your mind, in your heart – FOREVER!
