About Loes...

I'm Loes. I live in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, together with my husband and our two girls (5 and 8 years old). I work as an IT-specialist at HAN university of applied sciences in Nijmegen

My hobbies are geocaching, hiking, scouting and reading books. I have a passion for Geography and (old) Maps. Totaly different is that I also love bookbinding. It started as a hobby, but during time It becomes more and more profesional. Other hanidicraft things I like are crocheting, knitting, sewing but I don't have many time left for that.

a request from my girls: They love cards with foxes. It can be a picture, drawing or anything else as long there's a fox on it.

If you don't have a fox-card, don't worry I will love every card, and every card makes me smile. You will make me even more happy with cards about:
- Nature
- Special sites around the place you live
- Remarkable buildings in your country
- Maps (old or newer)
- Handmade cards
- Cards with a connection to my hobbies.

If it's easier for you to send the card in an envelop, it's no problem. if you would like to, you could also send something from your country, like a used train or bus ticket, a cinema ticket, a small coin, a teabag or what ever you like. I love surprises! But please, only do this when it feels comfortable for you!

If you don't know what to write, write something in your own language (please translate!) or tell about your day, the area you live, some crazy things that happend, a beautiful quote etc.
