Seeing_the_Elephant

I am an Adventurer. There is plenty of wilderness in the U.S. for me to discover. When I say I travel a lot, I mean it. I prefer to visit the "Wild." Nature gives me energy and grounds me to reality in a way that museums and man made "sights" cannot. My favorite part of the day is sunset. This year I saw a green flash twice off the Northern California coast.

I am also a Christian.

A thing that fascinates me are near-death experiences (perhaps its better said "near-life" experiences). I've racked up quite a few of them over the last few years, but it doesn't change me the way it probably would for others. It's more of a talking piece at a dinner party. If anything they have dulled me more like I'm desensitized to them. Well, if you have one please tell me about it and how you reacted to it afterwards. Did you change? How so?
