Hello Postcrossers, my name is Lilli. I was born in Denmark and my family and I immigrated to Canada when I was a youngster. My husband and I lived and worked in Vancouver and raised our daughter there. We are now retired and live on the west coast of Canada on Vancouver Island.
I love the ocean and everything about it. I enjoy beachcombing and finding things such as driftwood and sea glass (a real passion of mine). I like to garden and some of the driftwood makes it's way there.
I love mail and mailart so if you like your card in an envelope I may send you one of my handmades. I'm OK if you send your card in an envelope (or not) and I really appreciate handmade cards and envelopes.
I would be happy with any postcard but if you need some ideas here you go:
* something unique to your country
* postal related such as postboxes, stamps and letter carriers
* events such as Euro 2012 or Tour de France or the Olympics
* anything to do with the "ocean" such as sealife, shells, floats, mermaids, lighthouses, beaches, cliffs, islands
* sports, especially track and field
* vintage photos or graphics
* movie posters
* holidays (e.g. Christmas) when it's the season
You can also check out my 'Favourites' which are cards that I like but don't have.
Of course the icing on the cake would be interesting postage stamps but regardless, I know I will love anything that you send and please, write a few words, especially in your own language.
AND.... I'm a BIG fan of Starbucks and collect their gift cards, gift envelopes and sleeves so if you happen to have any I would really appreciate receiving one.
Check out this website about starbucks cards: http://buckscards.com/
1 last thing... Please don't send computer generated (too impersonal), religious or porno/erotic cards.
Thanks for reading this!
Dear Olga from Russia, I received your postcard RU-3685426 but Postcrossing won't let me register it because it's too old. Thank you for it, great card and stamps!
