About Gertarud...

Hello everybody,

I joined postcrossing to stop my mailbox from starving, and so far it is working very good!

I like to receive black-and-white postcards, black-and-white postcards with a splash of colour (I try to collect all the colours - I am still missing purple and brown), postcards of wire fox terriers, postcards of yellow things (you would make me really happy with a picture of a yellow VW beetle) or postcards picturing animals before a sunset. Please don't send me cards with religious motives or supposedly funny cards.

If you can, please include a bookplate (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bookplate) in your letter - my father is a collector and I would like to surprise him on his birthday in November.

I like reading (mostly fiction, biographies, historical novels or crime novels), hiking, photography, acting, playing badminton, going to the cinema and making my own clothes.

It would be interesting to know what kind of shop or store you would have if you needn't worry about any financial or administrational stuff! You could also tell me what kind of book you would write (romance, crime novel...) and what the title would be.

As I speak different languages apart from english, feel free to write in dutch, german, french, afrikaans and spanish!

Looking forward to your postcards!
