About Claire...

I am retired with interests in photography, writing, quilting, painting and travelling. In the winter months I am in my home in Arizona. Spring through fall I am in my Canadian home in British Columbia.

As for postcards I prefer single-view postcards. I have no particular subjects I'm collecting but I would be very interested to receive:
beautiful landscapes
photography (b/w or colour)
coffee/tea cups
sewing machines
sewing tools

All postcards are welcome. Tell me something about yourself and where you are from.

PLEASE, no homemade cards or plain cardboard! No envelopes, stickers or washi tape. No free or advertisement cards! I would appreciate your own artwork - sketching, drawing, painting, photography...cutting out a picture from a magazine and attaching it to a piece of cardboard cut from a manilla folder DOES NOT make it a postcard!! Don't send something you would not want to receive.

PLEASE NOTE: As of April 1, 2014 the cost of mailing a postcard internationally from Canada increased from $1.85 to $2.50. (The same service in the USA is only $1.20.) Therefore, it is very unlikely that I will be mailing postcards from Canada. So, don't be surprised when you see American postage stamps on my Canadian post cards. CANADA POST does NOT need to pick my pocket!!!

Before your postcard expires, send me a message. I will be happy to register it for you. Sometimes the mail is just too slow!

I scan and upload the front of each postcard I send. I do not do the same for those I receive.
