About Saskia...

Hi! I'm Saskia and I live in the beautiful old cheese city Gouda.
I love to explore the world and learn about all people who live on this wonderful planet.

I love to sing (I used to sing in an a capella vocal group), crochet & knitting and enjoying great food & wine. And eventhough I haven't lately I like reading books. I love to watch my still-to-read book collection and get excited by the thought that one day I'm going to read them for the very first time and have them enchanting me.
I love paper, stickers, stationary and illustrations and I am a big fan of Flow Magazine.
I watch way too many tv series (hurray for Netflix 🙃) and love to watch movies.

I have a small garden at the back of my house, which I love, and whenever the weather allows me to it you can find me in it.

But most of all I love spending time and making lots of fun with my friends and family, wherever they are in the world. I love to travel and explore new and already known countries.
I travel a lot to Helsinki, Frankfurt and Munich for my job (I am a category manager food for a travel & event retail company) and about once a year I visit my friends and family in the US.

My motto is Life is too short not to enjoy, so live, love, laugh & be Happy! And no mather how bad a day might have been there's something good in every day, you just have to look for it and be aware.

Now, regarding postcards; I love colorful ones with a personal touch. I always try to find the perfect card for the receiver and give it something extra. And I love it when someone does that for me too.
I don't have a preference for a specific type of card. I'm looking forward to any card you chose specially for me 😊
By the way, I'd really appreciate it if you are able to upload your card and write the place and date on it, thanks!

Don't know what to write? Why don't you tell me what you did yesterday or what you're going to do today or tomorrow. Or describe (or draw!) me the view from your window or tell me about a typical tradition of your country or family. I'll be thrilled to read about it!

Have a wonderful day ☀️

All the best & keep enjoying life and its beauty.
