Please write my address correctly. Do not forget about the letter of the Russian alphabet after the house number - "Б", it's mandatory. Do not be afraid, you can easily write the address in Russian
I live in the westernmost region of Russia. My beloved city and former Koenigsberg has no borders with “big Russia”. The Kaliningrad region borders on Poland and Lithuania. We have access to the Baltic Sea, and we also share with Lithuania a natural UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Curonian Spit. This is a strip of land between the sea and the Curonian Bay.
We often like to travel. It is a pity that for this we still need to obtain a Schengen visa, although it's easy.
I prefer a postcard WITHOUT an envelope such as:
😍 original single view of your panoramic city or capital
😍 views of your streets with trams
😍 beautiful landscapes
😍 famous natural attractions
😍 cardmaximum / urban or nature only
🙏 Please refrain from doing ADS / multi / paint / self-made cards / animals if it possible 🙏
🙏 Do not send postcards that don´t represent your country. For example, do not send postcard of Paris if you live in USA or Vienna city view if you live in France... 🙏
I like interesting TRAVEL POSTCARDS. Use unusual stamps whenever possible, as I value it very much. Don't feel like this is a strict requirement. I would be glad to any postcard. The main thing is that you send a postcard with love for me.
I will be glad to see a short story about you and your city, about your national spirit and mentality. You can write some stereotype about Russia and Russians known in your culture, whatever it is. What do people in your country think of Russia? Do you know anything about the region where I live? There are no standard greetings. Write something more original. Try not to write to me the same thing that is indicated in your profile, as I will definitely read about you as soon as I receive your postcard.
Members of European countries, please kindly ask you to WRITE IN YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE, but readable. Don't worry, I will understand and answer you in your language.
My name is Aleksei. I work as a hotel receptionist between my cruise ship contracts.
I am an avid traveler who always takes notes about countries and cities and the people who live there. Every time I send postcards from different cities and countries when I travel.
Postcrossing is a great way to see the world through a postcard, because money isn't always enough to travel the world.
P.S. I accept requests for the exchange of sweet parcels. I am ready to buy typical Russian sweets and send it to you in exchange for sweets from your country. Just write me.
