Most early visitors to the Giant Forest were locals seeking an escape from the summer heat of the Great Central Valley. A wonderful, historic postcard sent with lovely stamps and interesting greetings, and it fits my Alphabet List (T = Tree) perfectly as the Giant Sequoia Tree can reach 100m in height and live for up to 3000 years: an impressive tree!
