How many postcards can I send on World Postcard Day? Why is there a limit?

On World Postcard Day there is a limit to how many postcards each postcrosser can send. We set this limit because the pool of addresses available each day is finite, and without a cap we risk running out. This way, more people get the chance to participate and earn the World Postcard Day badge.

So, on October 1st, every postcrosser can send up to 10 postcards through the website. Here’s how it works:

• If you only have 2 slots available, you can send 2 postcards.
• If you have 5 slots available, you can send 5 postcards.
• If you have 10 or more slots available, you can send up to 10 postcards.

Remember that you only need to send one postcard on October 1st to receive the special badge (once it’s registered), so you don’t need to send your full allowance. Try to be mindful of others... and also of Paulo’s stress levels 😅.
