About Julia...

Hi everyone,

My name is Julia and I'm from Moscow, Russia. I'm married to a wonderful man and have a beautiful daughter - Sofia, who is 9 years old and is a great friend of mine :)
I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, walking in the parks, swimming. As I travel a lot for business, I feel like the happiest person in the world, when I have a chance to travel with my family just for leisure. Some of the countries that we haven't visited yet, but would love to, are: Ireland, Iceland and Australia.

Hugs and laughter is what I can't live without!

Some other things that either have a very special meaning to me or bring extra joy to my life: hot air balloons, lighthouses, four-leaf clover, stars, hedgehogs, teddy bears, warm and cozy throw blankets, coffee mugs (with coffee!), little houses painted in bright colors, red wine, chocolate, Christmas tree decorations and BOOKS!

Feel free to send me any card you choose, but here's a small list just to give you some idea of what kind of cards I would be really happy to get from you:

- illustrations from children's books or anything that seems it could be an illustration from a children's book :) if to choose between an illustration and a photograph, I would always prefer the first
- anything cute, pretty and colorful
- Lali Riddle/Puzzle cards (they're such a hit in our family!)
- Atelier Nouvelles Images cards
- Cartoon characters
- doors and windows painted in bright colors

Please check out my favorites gallery to see what postcards I like most of all :)

I'd be totally happy to receive CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR cards in December-January and Happy Birthday cards in March (my daughter and I both have our b-days this month).

Sorry, I'm not a big fan of tourist city view cards. Unless you have something super creative and there're no doubts it will impress me, please keep such card for other postcrossers :) Also, please no self-prints and no ad cards, thank you.

If possible, please send your card in an envelope. This way it has more chances to reach me instead of being lost at my local post office :(

I'm looking forward to receiving your card and learning more about you!

Happy postcrossing!
