I work for a non-profit organization and study anthropology. I like to play the piano, embroider and watch figure skating. Reading is very important for me; I tend to read mostly non-fiction, especially ethnographies, history, economics. I am excited every time I request a new address: selecting a card which will hopefully make a fellow postcrosser smile is really fun. It's probably the best part of Postcrossing!
I collect children's books with nice illustrations for my 5-year old niece, so fairy-tale/storybook cards would make me really happy. Postcrossers from Russia - if there be such a thing as a “Happy Birthday!” “S Novym Godom” or any other old-school postcard, I would be most grateful! Other likes:
-armor, samurai, medieval knights
-folk and historical costumes
-Paul Gauguin, other famous artists or artists from your country
-Inge Look, Sven Nordqvist, Rolf Lidberg
-classical music (composers, artists, orchestras, opera)
-piano, piano keys
-Christmas and New Year
-Nouvelles Images multiples
-nice, unusual stamps on your postcard
But any card from you will be very special. Cards in my Favorites are those which I have already received.
Thanks in advance for your card, and happy Postcrossing to all!
