Hi everyone. I am 35 years old and work for a university in Arkansas (a southern U.S. State) teaching the public about water quality and how they can reduce pollution in their communities. I also help with voter education. Before my daughter was born, I was a newspaper reporter and wrote about city government. I miss newspapers but love spending time with my family (which now includes a baby boy).

I have never been outside of the U.S. and I'm tired of begging my friends to send me post cards from their travels, so send me some from your vacation! Or from your home town.

I like all types of post cards, but especially:

-history related cards

-newspapers

-nature
-birds
-folk lore ( like big foot or Loch Ness monster)
-state capital buildings
-U.S. national parks (even better with park passport stamps)
-Lakes, rivers, ocean
-Sweden, Norway cards
-Book covers
-Moon view
-Who Mails?
-Dr. Who
-Disney World

My great grandparents moved to the U.S. from Sweden, Norway and Germany, so if you're from one of those countries, I'd love to read about your culture or a favorite recipe.

Tell me about a book you are reading or something you have planned for the week.

If you are in the U.S. and live near a national park, I would love to get a postcard from there with their national park passport stamp on it. I have started collecting postmark stamps in my natl park passport book.

If you are in England, I'd love for you to use Dr.Who stamps! (I love all kinds of stamps)
