I love sending and receiving postcards. I have dozens of pen pals all over the world. Connecting with others will help make a better world.
I have some very special friendships through pen pal correspondence but can't take on any more right now. But maybe if you want to exchange postcards? But please, only if you are serious about establishing a friendship. I am so disappointed when pen pals don't respond, not even to say they are not interested. And it is really sad when they initiated the exchange.
I live with my husband in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in northern California. I love playing and creating with all kind of media, usually involving fiber. I'm an avid reader but also spend too much time on the computer. If not doing any of the above, I'm out seeing the wonderful world!
I love cards of all types (I do recycle some cards for my grandnephews and grandnieces so cards appropriate for young children are appreciated) but mainly just like hearing about YOU! What do you like to do? What's your dream vacation? What is the best thing about where you live? What makes you happy?
Note: Since I update my profile with the added paragraph above I have received great cards to send onto my grandniece and grandnephews...they love them! I am so appreciate when postcrossers go the extra mile. Thanks YOU!
Please send only postcards (not note cards in envelopes), naked as they are meant to be (meaning not in envelope) ☺!
Wishing you joy!
PS If you want your card uploaded, please do so before mailing. Thanks!
Another note to US postcard collectors. I have a great number of postcards that are ready to move to another home. I have both small and medium priority boxes ready to go. If you want them, the postcards are yours. Sorry I can't send off to foreign countries as postage is prohibitive! UPdate: Recently, I sent a box to a postcrosser who is a teacher. She sent me a lovely note telling me how she is using the postcards. Oh, that makes me feel good!
