Hello fellow Postcrossers

I was born and raised in the small city of Bloemfontein, South Africa and lived there until recently. We moved to Pretoria, South Africa at the end of 2015. Pretoria is the capital city of South Africa and is also referred to as Tshwane. Tshwane is the African name for the Apies River which runs through the city, as well as the name used for the Pretoria area.

I am a lecturer in Visual Arts at a private university and enjoy painting, drawing and photography. I am currently busy with my PhD for which I have a blog: http://yolandiburger.blog.com/

I want to travel around the world and are passionate about learning about all the countries, cities and cultures from our fellow postcrossers. I also starting to collect coins from all countries, so if you can please send me a separate envelope with coins of your currency and I will return the favour :). Please include your address to which I can send you coins on the envelope.

I would love postcards with:
- Pictures of buildings, monuments or scenery of your city or country
- Traditional food recipes or saying phrases in your languages (together with an English translation)
- An interesting fact about your city or country
- Should we travel to your country which places would you recommend for us to visit
- Artwork of one of your local artists
- Corgi dogs (I love them and have three of my own)
