About Marita...

I, ykssoprano ...
...am about 65 year old woman, mother of a grownup son... retired 2018 from working in a hospital as a system specialist (computer solutions)... have been singing in choirs for several years... love to read and make handicrafts... love stamps, so different kinds of stamps make me happy (I'd really love you to use real stamps ON THE CARD, NO ENVELOPE please, stamps are so lovely miniature pictures)... scan and upload all the cards I send as those I receive... would like to see something new in every postcard, even if I have received 4500 already.

My avatar is part of the painting of J.W.Waterhouse (1849-1917): The Soul of the Rose (1908). Karootje from Netherlands sent this beautiful card to me.

I love GENUINE stamped postcards, normal size (about 10 cm x 15 cm, if available of course), something colourful, interesting, surprising, funny, beautiful, etc. on it. The picture of the card is everything, the pure visual effect which makes you enjoy, think, laugh, admire or look back and remember, for instance. I don't like other texts on the card than the name of the view on a view card, if you choose one. - Your own text on the address side though is important and most welcome :)

If you want, you can always check my faves list - you might get a hint (many of those cards are already received though) :

P.S. Will you please date the card and perhaps tell something about the motif of it.
