I am an emerging scholar studying language, disability, and the media. finishing my Ph.D. program at a university in Japan, I am a researcher.

Shortwave radio, that I started to listen to in 1997, inspired my interest in language and culture. Since then, I traveled to several countries for study and academic visits. I have visited North America, Australia and New Zealand, and some countries in Asia and in Europe. Hope to visit rest continents someday. From 2008 to 2009, I lived in the U.S. for studying at a graduate school. I am always inspired by meeting with people around the world and talk with them. I look forward to having good encounters with Postcrossing.

I like traveling (as I mentioned above!), watching films, listening to music (from jazz, rock, pops classical, to folk music!), reading, and swimming.
