How are you doing? I am fine ;)! My name is Nikodem Wieczorek, I live in a small town in eastern Mazovia, in Minsk Mazowiecki. I'm in the 7th grade of primary school, I'm 12 years old, and I'm learning two languages - English and German. I like skiing, playing tennis and swimming, but sport is not my whole life.

I wrote that I live in Minsk Mazowiecki. It is quite a small town in eastern Mazovia. It takes me about half an hour by car to get to Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on a rather old and crowded highway. We have here (in my town) few shops, churches, schools... In a word, there is nothing interesting here.

History. Yes, I love history, especially the 18th, 19th and 20th century history. After all, it is all so interesting... Besides, I am interested in the military - militaries, tactics, strategies...

My favourite genre of music is, as befits a true military fan, military marches. I also like watching movies a lot, I like classics, like Harry Potter, or (polish) Potop etc.

I am currently learning English and German. I apologise in advance for the numerous language mistakes. I like to learn new things, languages. Therefore, I will also learn Dutch with a native speaker through a special online platform.

This may be a rather strange interest, but I love drawing maps on the computer. As you can probably guess, it's mostly historical, but there have also been a few alternate universes in the past ;).

Remember, if you don't know what to write, you can describe yourself, your city, your country. ATTENTION: Writing and reading such postcards may result in making new friends! It's better not to take the risk!

Finally, I would also like to say a few words about the postcards you want to send to me. Well, I like:
- postcards with landscapes or cityscapes;
- Postcards with famous historical events (the Battle of the Narva, the Peace of Nystad, the First Silesian Uprising etc.);
- postcards with German, Dutch or Polish motifs
- postcards with mountain landscapes in winter
- postcards thematically related to the army, militaria;
- postcards to Mińsk Mazowiecki (if you can find them);
- postcards with the famous slogan 'Keep calm and...';
