I am a registered nurse, voracious reader, sometimes writer, and crafty soul from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

I love to connect with other people. I always had pen pals as a child, and email and texting make me long for a simpler time when people put pen to paper.

My heart belongs to:
-my husband, Dave;
-our cats, Storm and Logan;
-Jane Austen and the Regency era;
-writing (creative non-fiction);
-dogs;
-paper crafts;
-photography;
-knitting!
-baking (anything and everything...I have a real sweet tooth);
-Ted Talks and hoarding podcast episodes that I never seem to get to;
-purchasing more books than I can ever read;
-stationery;
-hiking and being outdoors, doing anything active (I'm terrible at sitting still);
-80s music (a soft spot, but I love all music, and singing badly in the car and shower); and
-brunch.
